TouchBase facilitate special days on PLOT 22 for children/young people (aged 5-25), who have experienced relational trauma and loss, to come with their parent/carers, key adult from school, or another significant person in their life, to strengthen and deepen their connection with nature as well as their connection and relationship with one another. The multi-sensory experience together is led and facilitated by two TouchBase Attachment Lead Teachers and Therapists. Theraplay and PACE are interwoven throughout the day.

TouchBase will soon be running ‘ConnectIN’, a therapeutic group project for young people (16-25 years old), who have experienced some form of loss and/or trauma in their young lives, focusing on building resilience by developing life skills, and providing opportunities for greater support and connection within community.

We have found that all who come to PLOT 22 benefit from a space away from the pressures of everyday life, an opportunity to work the land and reap from the land, focusing on the important things in life – connection and relationship.
